GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Las Vegas, NV. The role requires vigilance to read environments, anticipate risk, and act accordingly, with patrols across various sites including retail and airports.

The position offers a full-time grave/day schedule, competitive hourly pay, benefits, 401(k) with matching, paid holidays, and uniform provided. Candidates must meet basic education and licensing requirements and be able to work holidays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year security experience in a construction setting.
• Current PILB license or certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient with computers and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Answer incoming calls for the site professionally.
• Observe and report on activity at assigned location.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Prepare detailed reports, including on difficult guests or residents.
• Enforce procedures, regulations, and standards as needed.
• Conduct regular area patrols by vehicle and on foot.
• Manage access control by checking IDs and assisting with deliveries.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Schedule: Full-Time Grave/Day combo shift, Thursday / 5:00pm-5:00am & Saturday-Sunday / 5:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You professionally answer all phones calls that come through the Site.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports, especially on rude guests or residents.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You conduct regular area patrols by vehicle and foot.
• You provide critical access control by checking IDs, answering phones, using computers, and handling deliveries as needed.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• You have at least a copy of a HS diploma or GED in hand.
• You have at least 1 year Security experience in a Construction setting.
• You have a current PILB on hand.
• You have a valid Driver's License.
• You excel in working with computers and other electronic systems.
• You will be able to work on holidays as scheduled for your shift.
• You are alert, excellent attention to detail, and situational aware!
• You are able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• You have strong work ethic!
• You are authorized to work in the U.S.
