Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree + 5 years related professional experience in construction and/or project management; 10 years strongly preferred.
• Leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.
• Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
• Must be expert in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Travel expectations 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
• Responsible for profitable growth of the section; ensuring staff levels, loading, and assignments meet project requirements while maintaining billable goals.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost, and establishing project objectives.
• Lead successful project execution and timely completion within budget across safety, quality, procurement, construction, environmental compliance, project controls, and public/community relations.
• Lead communication between Engineering GP and Construction section.
• Implement and support company programs; manage change within the section.
• Achieve targets and standards for financial performance; manage section budget and funds.
