Jobbeschreibung

Own the schedule behind the cleanrooms where life-saving medicines are made.

AES Cleanroom Technology is a leading design-build company specializing in cleanroom environments for the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. As we grow, we're building out our project controls function - and we're looking for a Construction Scheduler who wants to shape how it's done, not just maintain it.

You'll build and own cost- and resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Procore, from proposal through closeout. You'll work directly with proposal leads, project managers, our Director of Self-Perform Services, and field teams, and your schedules will drive real decisions on complex, controlled-environment projects.

LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT

This position is based in our Montgomeryville, PA office. Our team works on-site Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. This hybrid schedule supports the close collaboration with project and field teams that this role requires. Relocation assistance is not provided, so candidates should live within commuting distance of Montgomeryville.

WHY YOU'LL LIKE WORKING HERE
  • High-impact work: Your schedules support facilities that manufacture therapies patients depend on.
  • Build something: Help set scheduling standards and best practices as we scale our project controls team.
  • Visibility: Present directly to project leadership and senior management. Your input shapes decisions.
  • Variety: Work across proposals and active projects, from conceptual schedules to recovery plans.
  • Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, vacation paid holidays
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build schedules: Develop detailed, logic-driven CPM schedules from drawings, estimates, and work packages, including logic ties, durations, and labor/resource loading.
  • Own the baseline: Set and maintain realistic baselines that reflect trade sequencing, cleanroom requirements, and contract milestones.
  • Support proposals: Create conceptual and detailed schedules for bids with the Estimating and Proposal team.
  • Run updates: Update schedules regularly based on field progress; produce critical path, float, and variance reports.
  • Plan ahead: Maintain short-interval look-aheads that drive weekly planning and crew allocation.
  • Get ahead of risk: Flag schedule risks early and lead recovery or acceleration plans when projects slip.
  • Lead pull planning: Facilitate pull-plan and schedule review sessions with clients, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Connect to project controls: Align activities with cost codes, use historical productivity data, and keep version control and documentation owner-ready.
  • Analyze impacts: Support delay analysis, time impact analysis (TIA), and change-order schedule impacts.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 4+ years of construction scheduling experience
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (or another CPM scheduling tool)
  • Experience building cost- and resource-loaded schedules for multi-discipline construction projects
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and progress measurement
  • Ability to read drawings and turn field and superintendent input into accurate logic and durations
  • Strong Excel skills and clear, confident communication with field teams and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred - equivalent experience welcome
NICE TO HAVE
  • Scheduling experience on cleanroom, pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, data center, or other controlled-environment projects
  • Procore experience (or willingness to learn it)
  • Pull Planning / Last Planner System experience
  • Delay analysis, TIA, or schedule risk analysis experience
  • Background with a self-performing general contractor managing multiple projects
  • PSP (AACE), PMP, or similar certification

Don't check every box? If you're a strong CPM scheduler from commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction and are eager to learn cleanroom work, we want to talk to you.
