Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Construction Scheduler to support planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale data center projects. You will develop, manage, and update detailed construction schedules and coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and project managers to keep milestones on track.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 5+ years scheduling experience in data centers, strong BIM/Procore skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with at least 2 years on data center or mission-critical facility projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, phases, and typical sequencing, especially in MEP-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and update detailed construction schedules.
• Coordinate input from general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to gather input and update project timelines.
• Integrate procurement and permitting timelines into the master project schedule.
• Analyze schedule impacts due to design changes, field conditions, or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
• Generate and distribute regular schedule reports, including look-aheads, critical path analyses, and schedule risk assessments.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings across multiple stakeholders to maintain alignment on milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and flag potential schedule risks, bottlenecks, or delays early.
• Ensure all schedules comply with contractual obligations, project goals, and client expectations.
• Support earned value analysis, productivity tracking, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in project closeout by documenting final schedules, lessons learned, and performance metrics.

About the role

The Data Center Construction Scheduler is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale data center construction projects. This role ensures that all phases of construction are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary and resource constraints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with at least 2 years on data center or mission-critical facility projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, phases, and typical sequencing, especially in MEP-intensive environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
• Experience with BIM, Procore, or other construction management tools.
• Scheduling certification (e.g., PMI-SP, AACE PSP) is a plus.
• Competitive salary rangeand performance bonus program with a range of $135k-$150k, dependent upon a candidates' experience and interview evaluation
