Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our Portland, OR team. The role reports to the Regional Safety Manager and focuses on project-specific safety inspections, regulatory compliance, and promoting safe work practices across the field.

1–3 years of field safety or construction experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Plans, administers, and coordinates the company's safety programs to control risks and losses.
Prepares and conducts safety orientations, trainings, and meetings.
Cares for compliance with required training programs and record keeping.
Coaches employees to meet safety program expectations.
Assist in administering the company's substance abuse program (drug & alcohol policy).
Conducts safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety and health programs.
