HazTek Safety Management is hiring a Safety Specialist in Wheatfield, IN to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about safety, compliance, and creating a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

The role requires 5+ years experience in construction safety, OSHA 30 Construction, CHST and GSP certifications, and First Aid/CPR. Travel Relocation possible; strong communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
• CHST & GSP certification required
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their PPE
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment
