Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to promote and ensure on-site safety across projects. The role requires developing site safety plans, delivering trainings, and enforcing regulations to maintain a compliant work environment.

You will be the point of contact for safety matters, lead site-specific trainings, and coordinate with contractors and general contractors to manage risks and incidents effectively.

Qualifications

• CHST, ASP, or CSP certification required.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR/AED training.
• OSHA 510 certification and NFPA 70E knowledge.
• Familiarity with Safetymojo, BIM 360, Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles daily and lift 25 lbs.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop site and project safety plans with training and JHA.
• Coordinate safety checks and equipment inspections.
• Deliver safety classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety).
• Coordinate training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Submit weekly safety reports.
• Conduct site hazard walks and implement mitigations.
• Supervise high-risk activities.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Assist incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Promote core values and professional development.
• Be the primary safety point of contact.

We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to be responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety. Our Safety Managers have comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day safety field operations including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes. You will also teach and coordinate site specific trainings and assign and monitor new hire trainings. You will be the point of contact for all safety related matters and ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment!

Location: Must be local to the Port Washington, WI area and be willing to report on-site.

You Will:

• Develop and implement site and project-specific safety plans, including
  • Safety orientation and training
  • Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activity identification and mitigation planning
  • Fatigue management plan
  • Pre-task plan
  • Stretch and bend program
  • PPE requirements
  • Housekeeping, signage, barricade plans
• Schedule and coordinate and / or perform equipment safety checks.
• Teach safety related classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety, etc.)
• Coordinate other site-specific training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
• Walk the site looking for hazards and mitigation
• Supervise high-risk activities
• Work with other subcontractor safety professionals to develop site improvement.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Help investigate injuries, PD, and / or near misses and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

You Have:

• BCSP Certification minimum of Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), ASP or CSP.
• 5+ years of experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training
• Emergency procedures training
• Mental Health First Aid Training
• Current OSHA 510 certification.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification.
• Knowledge of Safetymojo, BIM 360, and Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles per day.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
