Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to promote and ensure site safety. You will develop site and project safety plans, deliver safety orientation, conduct Job Hazard Analyses, and enforce regulations. You’ll lead training and coordinate with electrical contractors and GC.

The role requires local availability in the Conesville, OH area and at least 5 years of experience, plus CHST/OSHA 510/NFPA 70E certifications. Join a safety‑focused team committed to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BCSP CHST, ASP or CSP certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR and AED training.
• OSHA 510 certification and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety training.
• Emergency procedures and mental health first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site and project safety plans and procedures.
• Provide safety orientation and training to staff and contractors.
• Perform Job Hazard Analyses and mitigate high-risk activities.
• Coordinate fatigue management, pre-task planning, and PPE requirements.
• Lead safety inspections, weekly reports, and hazard mitigation walks.
• Teach safety classes (Aerial lifts, LOTO, electrical safety).
• Investigate injuries and near misses; participate in root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and participate in safety committee meetings.

We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to be responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety. Our Safety Managers have comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day safety field operations including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes. You will also teach and coordinate site specific trainings and assign and monitor new hire trainings. You will be the point of contact for all safety related matters and ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment!

You must be local to the Conesville,OH area and be willing to report on-site.

You will:

• Develop and implement site and project-specific safety plans, including
• Safety orientation and training
• Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activity identification and mitigation planning
• Fatigue management plan
• Pre-task plan
• Stretch and bend program
• PPE requirements
• Housekeeping, signage, barricade plans
• Schedule and coordinate and / or perform equipment safety checks.
• Teach safety related classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety, etc.)
• Coordinate other site-specific training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
• Walk the site looking for hazards and mitigation
• Supervise high-risk activities
• Work with other subcontractor safety professionals to develop site improvement.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Help investigate injuries, PD, and / or near misses and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

You have:

• BCSP Certification minimum of Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), ASP or CSP.
• 5+ years of experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training
• Emergency procedures training
• Mental Health First Aid Training
• Current OSHA 510 certification.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification.
• Knowledge of Safetymojo, BIM 360, and Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles per day.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
