Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote a culture of safety on construction sites. You will develop, implement, and oversee health and safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities include site inspections, audits, training, incident investigations, and collaborating with project teams to integrate safety into all project phases while maintaining accurate records and regulator reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Construction safety experience preferred.
• ASP/CSP/CHST certifications preferred or obtainable within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and training compliant with OSHA and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Investigate accidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to employees, contractors, and site personnel.
• Enforce safety standards and coordinate with project teams to embed safety across projects.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, and training logs.
