Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in safety, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience on large projects.
• Experience inspecting construction sites, audits, and field reviews.
• Experience preparing safety reports and documenting corrective actions.
• Experience supporting or conducting safety incident investigations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve contractor safety management programs and tools.
• Develop contractor safety performance metrics and KPIs.
• Coordinate site visit schedules with project managers.
• Conduct construction site safety visits, audits, and observations.
• Prepare site safety visit reports and document action items.
• Deliver initial contractor safety training for construction managers.
• Develop weekly safety focus topics for project teams.
• Identify safety training and process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with project-specific safety plans.
• Lead or support investigations for safety incidents.
• Establish requirements for site safety representatives and maintain resources.
• Interview, onboard, and remotely support site safety reps.
• Assist with contractor safety qualifications and client pre-qual requirements.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements and regulatory inspections as needed.
