Job summary

Hankins Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety culture on commercial construction sites. The role partners with project teams, subcontractors, and leadership to enforce policies, conduct inspections, and drive continuous safety improvements across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and strong communication skills to educate crews and document safety performance; MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of construction safety experience, commercial construction preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 510/500 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and state regulations.
• Experience conducting safety audits, trainings, and investigations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site safety across Hankins Construction projects, conducting inspections and audits.
• Educate and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies; stop work for unsafe conditions.
