Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Safety Internto be based in the following locations:Chicago, IL, Jacksonville, FL, Cleaveland, OH, Indianapolis, IN, Tampa, FL, Philadelphia, PA.

This position is expected to begin in May 2027.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed 1 year of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Part of an SH&E related program at school.
  • Experience working for a large general contractor.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction‑based computer programs.
