Job summary

Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC) invites motivated students to join our Construction Safety Intern program for Summer 2025. You will support field safety activities, assist project managers, and gain hands-on exposure to safety protocols on diverse construction sites across North America.

The internship emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and practical learning in Occupational Health and Safety, with opportunities to contribute to real-world safety initiatives and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• Driver’s license.
• All candidates are required to complete a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing Team Zero Observation cards.
• Assist the Project Manager with a Field Safety Checklist.
• Participate in job site assessments.
• Assist with compiling a job site safety binder and pre-task plans.
• Calculate CCC's DART and RIR Rates.
• Complete safety observation cards.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
