Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Associate to oversee day-to-day safety operations, ensure OSHA compliance, and promote a strong safety culture on-site.

Responsibilities include onboarding and safety training, leading safety meetings, daily site inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations with root cause analysis, maintaining OSHA 300 logs and safety records, and advising project teams on corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of EHS or related construction experience.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and OSHA 510 Construction certifications.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and safety documentation systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Cleanroom or pharmaceutical environment experience strongly preferred.
• Local candidates preferred.

• Coordinate and lead safety meetings, maintaining agendas, attendance records, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and assessments, document findings, and track corrective actions through completion.
• Identify workplace hazards and collaborate with project leadership and contractors to implement corrective measures.
• Investigate safety incidents, injuries, property damage, and process losses; perform root-cause analyses and prepare required reports.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, incident records, safety metrics and required project documentation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate site-specific safety plans, policies, procedures and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Maintain hazardous chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA construction and general industry regulations.
• Provide ongoing safety coaching and support to site personnel while assisting the Project Management Team with EHS requirements.
