McCarl's Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Advisor to promote a safe working environment on all projects. You will guide site management and workers on safety practices, enforce regulations, and foster a proactive safety culture across sites.
Responsibilities include conducting inspections, delivering toolbox talks, investigating incidents, maintaining records, and coordinating with project teams to integrate safety into daily operations. Travel to jobsites is required.
The Construction Safety Advisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment on all construction projects. This role provides expert guidance to site management and workers on safety practices, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and fosters a proactive safety culture. The Safety Advisor acts as a resource for identifying hazards, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all safety programs and policies are effectively implemented.
This position requires travel to and from jobsites and extended overnight stays are expected.
Will frequently sit, use of hands/fingers, talk/hear. Will frequently stand, walk, grasp, reach w/ hands/arms, bend/stoop/kneel/squat/crawl. Lift up to 30lbs. Near vision. Ability to adjust focus.
Will frequently be in an office. For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in typical office environment. Will frequently be on a job or shop site. Moderate noise level. Employees must use personal protective equipment as deemed necessary by the industry/construction safety standards and/or by McCarl's safety policy and procedures.
