Job summary

Spriggs Excavation, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver/Laborer to support construction site operations in Denver. The role involves assisting skilled trades, handling materials, and maintaining safe, organized sites.

You will drive company vehicles to collect and drop off materials and help prepare work areas according to project plans. The ideal candidate can follow instructions, work well with teams, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades personnel as directed and provide construction support.
• Unload, transport, and distribute materials as directed by the supervisor or plans.
• Prepare work areas by measuring, marking, or recording openings and distances.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite by removing debris and organizing tools and materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Direct traffic around work zones to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Signal equipment operators to guide machinery and material movements.
• Drive the company vehicle along designated routes for material pickup, drop-off, or disposal.
• Perform day-end cleanup and secure all tools and materials.
