Focus on transmission line and substation projects within a defined area, coordinating with PM, permitting, siting, and outreach teams. Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, 3+ years of construction experience, and a valid license.

Responsible for managing construction contractor activities in accordance to project plans and specifications for projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts or New Hampshire. Observes and inspects construction contractors to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, state/local siting conditions, contract documents, environmental regulations, and safety regulations. Assigned transmission line and/or substation construction projects within an assigned geographic area. Works closely with personnel in Transmission Project Management, Environmental Permitting, Siting, local control center, and Outreach Services.

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. General/Electrical/Transmission ROW (Right of Way) construction conditions. Construction activities are performed year-round, work schedule dependent upon specific project Must be able to enter ROW and other job sites that are in remote areas with uneven terrain.
Must demonstrate past and continued ability to analyze and solve complex construction problems; and demonstrate the ability to perform incident investigations.

The annual salary range for this position is: $99,080.00-$110,090.00
