Job summary

Cavco Industries Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to verify materials, components, and finished products meet quality, regulatory, and engineering specifications. You will work with production teams to ensure compliance with HUD specifications and continuous quality improvements.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to read schematics, teamwork, and the ability to perform inspections, document results, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Physically demanding with ability to lift 40+ pounds and handle tools.
• High school diploma and manufacturing experience; ability to read schematics.
• Quality control inspection experience and knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Document inspection results and communicate violations or required corrections.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line staff to discuss inspection results and quality improvements.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping, follow work orders, and HUD specifications.
• Support continuous quality improvements and proper use of measurement equipment.
