Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional for a field-based role in Covington, KY. You will develop and maintain QASP in line with FAR and CQM requirements, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate QC meetings with contractors and government representatives.

You will review submittals and materials, maintain rigorous QA records, and work with safety and project controls teams to ensure compliance with schedule and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background check.
• Ability to work in field settings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QASP in compliance with FAR, CQM, and contract specs.
• Perform daily quality inspections and document progress to meet standards.
• Oversee Quality Control meetings with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Review/submittals, shop drawings, and materials for conformance.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, PMs, and government reps to address non-conformances.
• Maintain quality documentation including NCRs and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with safety and project controls for integrated compliance.
• Ensure testing/inspection activities are performed by qualified personnel.
• Participate in meetings, audits, and final inspections; support continuous improvement.
