Elite-Recruiting- is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for a naval construction project in Newport, Rhode Island. The QC Manager will oversee project quality control and verify that construction meets contract requirements, plans, and specifications on-site.

The candidate should have 10+ years in construction leadership, at least four years as QC Manager, knowledge of EM 385-1-1, and a valid CQM certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days of award.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of combined experience in roles such as Superintendent/PM/Engineer/Construction Manager on similar contracts.
• At least four years as a QC Manager.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1.
• Experience with hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
• Current Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certificate, valid for five years; must obtain within 90 days of contract award.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for a naval construction project in Newport, Rhode Island. The QC Manager will oversee project quality control and verify that construction meets contract requirements, plans, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality control activities across the project’s major construction trades.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control documentation.
• Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify resolution.
• Work with project leadership and subcontractors to address quality issues.
• Review construction work and materials for compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Apply knowledge of EM 385-1-1, hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of combined experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on contracts of similar size and type involving the project’s major trades.
• At least four of those years as a QC Manager.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1.
• Experience with hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
• A current Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certificate, valid for five years. Candidates without a current certificate must obtain it within 90 days of contract award.
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
