Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is looking for a Purchasing Agent to bid on new projects, maintain scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, and support cost control for construction programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Solicit bids
Pre-qualify subcontractors
Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices
Maintain and update current budgets
Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases
Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review
Input original Direct Costs budget
Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs
