ICON Technology is seeking an experienced Construction Purchasing Agent II to join our Pre-Construction team in Austin, TX. This role involves procurement, supplier negotiations, and material purchasing to support nationwide construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in construction purchasing, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Candidates with knowledge of construction materials and vendor management will be highly preferred.
ICON is looking for an experienced Construction Purchasing Agent II to join our Pre-Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement, supplier negotiations, and material purchasing to support construction projects across the country. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in construction purchasing, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience in construction materials, vendor management, and residential or commercial construction will be highly preferred. This role will be based at our Austin, TX headquarters and will report to the Manager of Construction Purchasing.
