Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead preconstruction planning and coordinate project starts for commercial builds in the Portland Metro area. You will manage estimating, bidding, and schedules, and oversee projects from planning through completion with close collaboration across field staff and clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning and coordinate project startup activities.
• Manage estimating and subcontractor bidding processes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
• Track budgets, timelines, and project milestones.
• Collaborate with field staff, leadership, and clients.
• Identify and resolve challenges to keep projects moving forward.
