Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception through completion. You will be responsible for estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting, and cost management while driving profitability from day one.

You will collaborate with owners and design teams to develop concepts, participate in proposals, and oversee subcontractor buyouts, with regular site meetings and a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

ARCO/Murray is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team. At ARCO, every associate is empowered to drive their success. You’ll be responsible for project performance and profit from day one!

A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Necessary Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study
• Open to fulltime opportunity post grad
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus

Total compensation for the Project Manager role ranges from $105,000.00 to $115,000.00, depending on location, previous experience, and more. Total compensation includes the base salary, benefits, and eligible discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance.

This represents typical base compensation for the role. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.
