ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with an engineering background to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for project performance and profit from day one, coordinating owners and design teams to drive value and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering by Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Minimum GPA 3.2/4.0.
• Prior construction internship is a plus; extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve results.

A Day In The Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Necessary Qualifications

• Graduation date in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus

Total compensation for the Project Manager role ranges from $84,000.00 to $95,000.00, depending on location, previous experience, and more. Total compensation includes the base salary, benefits, and eligible discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance.
