Lead the Delivery of Hyperscale Data Centers and Mission-Critical Infrastructure

Successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to align customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams around a common goal. Project Managers play a critical role in transforming complex project plans into successful outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule performance, and financial accountability.

About Michels Infrastructure Solutions

Michels Infrastructure Solutions (MIS) brings together the full capabilities of the Michels Family of Companies under a Super General Contractor (Super GC) model, providing mission-critical owners and developers with a single point of accountability for every phase of project execution. By combining self-performed specialty design, construction, and commissioning services, MIS delivers large-scale, multidisciplinary projects with greater control over safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

MIS specializes in the delivery of hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities, leveraging expertise across mass grading and site development, wet and dry utilities, fiber and telecommunications infrastructure, ground improvement, deep foundations, structural concrete, power infrastructure, and commissioning. Our integrated delivery approach enables customers to partner with a single-source team capable of executing some of North America's most complex and demanding infrastructure projects.

Position Overview

As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects from preconstruction through project closeout. You will be responsible for project safety, financial performance, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, resource planning, customer communication, and overall project execution.

In this role, you will serve as a primary liaison between customers, subcontractors, suppliers, field operations, engineering teams, commissioning personnel, and project stakeholders. Success requires strong leadership, communication, financial management, and organizational skills combined with the ability to safely deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

This position is ideal for construction professionals who enjoy leading teams, building customer relationships, solving complex challenges, and driving successful project outcomes.

  • Support project pursuits, preconstruction planning, estimating reviews, procurement strategies, and execution planning activities.
  • Identify project risks, schedule impacts, constructability concerns, and operational challenges while developing practical solutions.
  • Ensure project activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
What You'll Do
  • Manage construction activities supporting hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure developments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, field leadership, project controls, procurement, quality, safety, and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, estimates, and project documentation to support successful execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, procurement strategies, forecasting models, and project execution plans.
  • Monitor project progress, labor productivity, resource utilization, procurement activities, safety performance, and financial performance.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, contract compliance, change management, and project reporting activities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders while serving as a trusted project leader.
  • Lead project meetings, customer meetings, operational reviews, schedule reviews, and project performance discussions.
  • Support project commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities to ensure successful project completion.
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, accountability, quality, and operational excellence.
