Job summary

The Korte Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Highland, IL or St. Louis, MO to act as the primary point of contact and coordination on our existing and future projects.

This role oversees the organization, scheduling and implementation of all aspects of the project, including budget and managing customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction with a proven history of project completion, the ability to lead

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in the construction industry.
• 5-10 years in a Project Manager or similar role.
• Experience organizing and scheduling while staying within budget.
• Strong communication with owners, customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open contact with owners, customers and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret specifications and plans to determine requirements and planning procedures.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Budget, manage and forecast subcontractor labor, equipment, materials, small tools, consumables and general conditions.
• Monitor and control project to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers and clients.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests.
• Complete reports and records accurately and timely.
