Job summary

Reeves Young in Savannah, GA is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion, aligning with our “Super Six” framework. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and vendors; manage procurement, buyouts, schedules, and safety compliance; and mentor junior staff to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to monitor project finances, subcontractor status, and overall budget.
• Experience with construction PM software is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and train assistants.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from start to finish under the Super Six framework.
• Develop and implement Buyout Log and buyout strategy for contracts.
• Review scope, drawings, specs, estimates, and schedules to plan procurement.
• Identify long-lead materials and maintain tracking via project logs.
• Develop project business plans to maximize fee and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with supervisors to monitor progress, productivity, and safety codes.
