Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. in Morris, MN, is seeking a Project Manager Intern to support construction project operations. You will participate in owner/architect/engineer meetings, help schedule and coordinate activities, and assist with permits and subcontract management.

This internship offers exposure to field operations, learning opportunities across the construction lifecycle, and a chance to develop problem-solving, communication, and team skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior in the Construction Management or Construction Engineering preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
• Enjoys problem solving and fast-paced environments.
• Works well in a team, but with a strong sense of self-direction.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in construction meetings with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of overall project operations, people, and processes to learn all facets of construction.
• Assist with project scheduling and coordination.
• Assist Project Managers with compliance and oversight of construction activities and field operations.
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses for each project.
• Assist in executing and managing subcontract agreements.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and process redesign.
• Partner with Project Manager to conduct customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related technical documents.
• Understand construction plans and assist in surveying.
• Potential jobsite experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
