Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation seeks a Project Manager to lead the project team and drive success across budgeting, planning, scheduling, and quality control on multifamily and commercial projects in Wilmington, NC.

This role includes coordinating with owners and subcontractors, preparing contracts and change orders, reporting variances, and ensuring work is on schedule while maintaining a strong client partnership and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or other relevant disc
• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily and commercial construction
• Successfully managed multiple projects to completion with values ranging from $10M-$60M
• Ability to organize, analyze, and problem solve challenges when they occur on assigned p
• Effective communication and ability to build/foster strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead project team to ensure budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality, and owner/subcontractor relationships
• Work with project team to ensure timely completion and accuracy of project information and targets
• Organize and participate in project meetings with staff, owners, architects, and trade partner
• Prepare contracts and change orders in a timely fashion
• Prepare and communicate monthly variance cost/budget reports to the management
• Provide oversight for all phases of construction, including safety, staffing, and ensuring contract documents are being followed and work is on schedule and within
• Foster strong partnership with owner to help the firm continue building on their 80% repeat business with current cli
• Produce and assist in close-out documentation

• Base salary depending on experience level.
