Description

Ruppert Landscape is a commercial landscape construction and management company, family-owned and employee-owned, headquartered in Montgomery County, MD, with operations across several states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Delaware, and Tennessee. Our mission is to provide opportunities for our people, take excellent care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration and processes of commercial landscape construction projects.
  • Oversee projects through substantial completion and during the warranty period.
  • Prepare bid submissions and change orders aiming for targeted gross profit.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors, general contractors, architects, and clients.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, including project architects, general contractors, and owner's representatives, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Create and maintain a rolling schedule for projects.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly reports are up-to-date and meet deadlines.
  • Handle billing and collections of receivables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to schedule manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Assist the Contract Administrator with monthly financial closeouts.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly forecasting and budgeting.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quickly.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of landscape construction site work.
  • Skill in negotiating prices and terms with customers and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Background in landscape construction management, engineering, or business management is a plus.
