Job summary

ForUs Contracting Inc is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead federal government construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. The role emphasizes schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance, coordinating with the FCI Team, subcontractors, procurement, and government agencies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in government-focused construction coordination, knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and proficiency with Procore or MS Project.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination with a focus on government contracting.
• USA Citizen
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS and public works compliance.
• Familiarity with prevailing wage, certified payroll, and other reporting requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project controls: schedules, 3-week look-ahead, action item logs, deliverable tracking, procurement tracking, dashboards, and risk tracking.
• Oversee RFI and submittal management: author RFIs, manage submittal logs, shop drawings, product data, samples, and coordination.
• Handle DFOWs (Definable Features of Work) and three-phase control: preparatory meetings, initial and follow-up inspections.
• Manage field reporting: QC plans, daily QC reports, deficiency logs, closeout documentation.

You’ll work closely with the FCI Team, subcontractors, procurement, and government agencies to ensure smooth and successful project execution from pre-construction through close-out.
