Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from initiation through completion at our Tempe, AZ area Phoenix Office. You will drive schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teamwork with internal contracts, estimating, and field personnel.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial/restoration PM experience, a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Civil/Structural Engineering, and strong leadership with PM tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant commercial construction/restoration project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects valued between $1–5 million.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and PM software.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with contracts, estimating, and field staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex construction projects to on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions with internal teams.
  • Develop and manage project schedules with field leadership.
  • Oversee project financials including P&L and forecasts.
  • Provide leadership to project teams and field crews.
  • Collaborate with estimators and sales to review bids and develop proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Uphold 24/7 safety and quality control on all projects.

Project Manager Location: STRUCTURAL Phoenix Office (Located in Tempe, AZ)

  • Serve as a key team member in delivering technical civil-related projects, often critical to the stability and sustainability of built structures within industrial and power generation spaces.
  • Facilitate team collaboration in the delivery of projects, from investigation of existing conditions to implementation of technical solutions.

  • Lead often never-been-done-before projects that require research, imagination, and team idea creation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, and collaborate with internal contracts teams.
  • Develop and manage project schedules in partnership with field leadership.
  • Oversee project financials, including profit & loss responsibility and financial projections.
  • Provide strong leadership and supervision to project teams, including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews.
  • Work closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to review bids and develop proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to 24/7 safety and quality control on all projects. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field will receive increased consideration.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the commercial construction and/or restoration industry will receive increased consideration.
  • Proven ability to manage construction projects valued between $1-5 million.
  • Experience with structural concrete repair, strengthening, and/or industrial maintenance projects will receive increased consideration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management/forecasting tools.
  • Strong leadership skills to train and mentor others effectively.
