Job summary

Meta Designs LLC seeks a Project Manager to oversee the daily management of kinetic metal architectural features and shop projects for exclusive residences and commercial structures.

You will coordinate between clients, the welding shop, designers, fabricators, and installers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, with travel across the United States as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Construction Management, PM or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; proficient in Excel and PM software.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of metal fabrication projects, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients, welding shop, and departments to coordinate progress.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly shop activities and coordinate with subcontractors for out-of-state projects.
• Supervise daily shop activities, ensuring safety and adherence to specs.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and engineers.
• Lead project progress meetings and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Willingness to travel intermittently to project locations in the US.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the daily management of kinetic metal architectural features and various shop projects for exclusive residences and commercial structures.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee all phases of our metal fabrication projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.


• Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between clients, our welding shop, and various departments. Ensure smooth communication and coordination about the overall progress of the project. With a team of experienced designers,metal fabricators and installers behind you to take over specific details as needed.


• Scheduling: Plan and schedule daily, weekly and monthlyactivities in our shop to ensure timely project completion. Coordinate with subcontractors for out-of-state projects.


• Supervision: Supervise high level daily construction activities in our shop, ensuring work is performed safely and meets project specifications.


• Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, engineers.


• Leadership: Lead and organize work activities, attend project progress meetings, and ensure all work complies with project specifications.


• Travel: Be open to intermittent travel to various project locations in the US.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Manager, PM or in the trade.


• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software.


• Knowledge: General understanding of construction methods and materials.


• Problem-Solving: Ability to take initiative, solve issues proactively, and prevent potential problems.


• Contract Management: Experience in negotiating and creating accurate contracts and subcontracts.


• Leadership: Effective at planning, organizing, decision-making, delegating, and conflict management.


• Project sizes range from $100k to $1.5 million.


• Ensuring all work is performed safely and in an organized manner.
