Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for on-site heavy civil construction projects in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas. This role provides leadership and oversight for highway and heavy civil projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all plans and specifications. Safety & Compliance

Education & Experience
  • 5–7 years of experience in highway and heavy civil construction preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, hear, and understand written and verbal instructions.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HCSS HeavyJob, CAD, and Viewpoint software is a plus.
  • Ability to accurately complete documentation and use basic computer applications.
Physical & Site Requirements
  • Ability to work long shifts with non-standard break times.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 100 ft and in enclosed or confined spaces.
  • Ability to walk moderate distances (½ mile or more) to reach work areas.
  • Must wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed boots).
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move items over 50 lbs.
Other Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Willingness to perform additional job-specific duties as assigned.
