Job summary

STRUCTURAL is hiring a Project Manager for the NY Metro and Long Island City area to lead design-build, self-performed construction projects improving critical infrastructure. You will manage the full lifecycle from preconstruction planning to delivery, driving collaboration across engineering, design, and field teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in CM/ Civil/Structural Eng, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• PMP or DBIA certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of commercial/public construction/restoration experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from preconstruction to delivery, ensuring goals and timelines are met.
• Lead team and client meetings to align on scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage procurement and contracts for subs, vendors, and materials.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, change orders, and disputes.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and risk plans with transparency.
• Ensure top-tier quality control with designers and QC teams.
• Champion safety culture aligned with OSHA standards.

In this role, you’ll lead complex, design-build, self-performed construction projects that directly improve the safety and longevity of critical infrastructure.
