PPG's Aerospace Business is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Aerospace Manufacturing Construction Projects in Mojave, CA. You will lead industrial construction programs from inception to completion, managing vendors, budgets, and schedules while ensuring safety and quality. Hybrid position: on-site in Mojave four days a week with one day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Construction, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in Project Management within chemical, aerospace, industrial construction.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to manage budgets and costs.
• Familiarity with design/build processes and FEL 0-3 stages.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or asylumees/refugees eligible.

PPG's Aerospace Business is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing Construction Projects to join our team in Mojave, CA! In this role you will be responsible for project management for projects valued from thousands to millions of dollars. You will directly manage vendors and contractors, plan and execute the totality of the project, direct workflow reviews as needed, and coordinate construction and equipment installation.

This is a hybrid position that involves working onsite in Mojave, CA 4 days per week, 1 day WFH when not traveling. You will report to the Process Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.

• Handle change orders and document control, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Construction, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 5+ years' experience in Project Management within chemical, aerospace, industrial commercial construction.
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple manufacturing sites within the US and potentially overseas, up to 25%.
• In-depth understanding of budgeting, estimating and project control methodologies.
• Familiarity with design / build process, commercial / industrial construction standards and or Front End Engineering process (FEL 0-3 stages).
• Proficient in project management software.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $165,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary.
