Job summary

Blueprint Staffing is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee project planning, coordination, and execution. This full-time permanent role requires an undergraduate degree and 5 years of PM experience in construction, with strong estimating and procurement capabilities.

The position emphasizes budget control, scheduling, bid reviews, subcontract administration, and cost monitoring to ensure profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5 years of successful experience as a construction project manager.
  • Estimating experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook and Excel; MS Project is a plus.
  • Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of construction.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and track project budgets including labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Manage master schedules, project timelines, and milestones.
  • Competitive procurement of materials, equipment and subcontracts; review bids for buyout within estimates.
  • Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders timely.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedule with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate RFIs with Project Superintendent and ensure field RFIs are entered.
  • Process change orders and ensure executed changes before proceeding.
  • Monitor costs daily and adjust projections to align with final costs.
  • Complete project close-out documentation and punch list resolution.

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

**This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is to ensure that projects are planned, coordinated and completed in a timely, efficient, effective and profitable manner and will be held responsible for all aspects related to the project.

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop/track project budgets to include all costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Manage master schedules, project time lines and milestones.
  • Competitively procure materials, equipment and subcontracts. Perform a detailed review of the bids received to enable the buy out of the project at or below the amount(s) in the original estimate.
  • Write subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders in a timely manner so that they are executed and resources are available prior to their scheduled delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain the project schedule including interaction with subcontractors, material suppliers and other vendors.
  • Coordinate with Project Superintendent all RFI’s and ensure that all field RFI’s have been properly entered.
  • Process Change Orders for all approved Change Requests. Ensure that all Change Requests have an execute change order prior to proceeding.
  • Monitor cost issues daily and adjust projections as required to ensure projected costs are an accurate account of final project costs.
  • Complete project close-out documentation and ensure that the punch list is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree required in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5 years of successful experience as a construction project manager.
  • Estimating experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Candidates will be proficient with computers and must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
  • Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of construction.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects.
