Job summary

NewWestBuildingCompany in Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with clients, design teams, and field staff to keep budgets, quality, and schedules on track.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and attention to safety. On-site or hybrid work options are available for projects in Jackson, WY and Teton Valley, ID, with a focus on craftsmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Project Manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Procore, SageIntacct, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Planera.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction coordination, including estimatingsupport and contract negotiations.
• Correspond with subcontract partners regarding scopes, proposals, and shop drawings.
• Work closely with internal project teams to resolve design issues and ensure coordination between field and office staff.
• Coordinate with the owner and design team to incorporate competitive pricing and/or present value engineering opportunities.
• Conduct subcontractor and OAC meetings weekly (as needed) to maintain alignment on progress and actionable tasks.
• Manage change order processes with owners and subcontractors in a timely manner.
• Uphold a strong commitment to OSHA and NWBC’s safety policies, ensuring team members return home safely each day.
• Coordinate with field leadership to update and control the project schedule.
• Maintain proper document control, including plans, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Execute closeout procedures and project commissioning while maintaining a positive owner relationship.
• Ensure predictable monthly billings and subcontractor payments by partnering with the accounting team.

AbouttheRole

NewWestBuildingCompanyProjectManagersareresponsibleforoverseeingandcoordinatingallaspectsofaprojectfrompreconstructionthroughcloseoutandwarranty.Thisrolerequiresstrongcommunicationandcollaborationwithclients,designteams,andinternal/externalfieldandofficeteams.TheProjectManagerisaccountableformanagingbudget,quality,andschedulewhiledrivingalignmentacrossallstakeholders.
