Buckeye Construction & Restoration in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, oversee, and deliver restoration projects on time and within budget. You will allocate resources, monitor costs, and lead cross-functional teams across client, architect, and vendor relationships.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in restoration or related construction, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with project management methods to drive successful outcomes and maintain Buckeye’s

Qualifications

• Degree in construction technology or related field is desired but not required.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in restoration desired but not required.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
• Excellent analytical skill and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
• Prepare & follow budget based on scope of work, estimate, and resource requirements.
• Track project costs in order to meet budget.
• Manage a detailed project schedule and work plan to track progress of each job.
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
• Manage the relationship with the client and architect group.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Provide project updates on a weekly basis to managers about project budgets, strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Monitor and measure project performance to identify areas of improvement for adjustments.
• Weekly job site visits to analyze on site labor, material, and equipment; verify scope per drawings and specs.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way

ROUTINE DUTIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Degree in construction technology or related field is desired but not required
• Commercial or industrial construction required
• 3-5 years of experience in restoration desired but not required
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skill
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well in a fast-paced team environment
