Actalent is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support the Energy Delivery organization in the Charlotte region. The role manages schedules, coordinates stakeholders, and oversees construction progress with timely leadership updates.

Ideal candidates have PMI/PMP preferred, 7+ years in project management, and 5+ years in construction management, with experience in electrical infrastructure and utilities. Onsite, full-time contract in Charlotte, NC, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of construction management or field execution experience.
  • Experience with electrical infrastructure, utility projects, substations, transmission, and distribution.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical facilities, data centers, energy infrastructure, industrial construction, or utility programs.

Work Environment

This position is located in Charlotte, NC, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The role requires the use of specific equipment, including a monitor, keyboard, headset, mouse, safety helmet, reflective vest, gloves, safety glasses or visor, and composite toe work boots. The work environment involves both strategic project management and hands‑on field execution responsibilities, providing opportunities to work with industry‑leading utilities, contractors, and engineering partners.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
