Job summary

Pepper Construction Group LLC is seeking a Project Manager to own a variety of projects, mentoring junior staff and guiding safety, quality, and financial outcomes from budget through closeout.

The role requires leadership, client interaction, and a proven ability to manage multi-million dollar projects across the Indiana market. Willingness to travel within Indiana is expected as projects span healthcare, education, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Engineering or related technical area.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Experience in Pepper's markets: healthcare, higher education, K-12, industrial, and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through closeout.
• Capable of managing projects $15 million and above.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction to scope, estimate, and buyout projects; work with Field Supervision and PMs to ensure safety and quality.
• Develop and manage project budgets; forecast costs and profits.
• Negotiate subcontracts and material buyouts; manage documentation and bids.
• Plan, schedule, and manage jobs including subcontractor coordination and conflict resolution.
• Provide leadership, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with clients.
