Job summary

TalentSphere is seeking a Construction Manager to lead project performance for high‑value builds in Vancouver, WA. You will coordinate in‑house and field teams to manage schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will drive bidding, scheduling, and reporting processes, coach field teams, and collaborate with Design and Development teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience with a design-builder, general contractor, sub-contractor and/or owner’s representative.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Architecture.
  • Working toward or has a designation in Engineering, Project Management or Architecture.
  • Gold Seal Intern or Gold Seal Certification.
  • PQS designation, a trade certification or a business degree considered an asset.
  • Has worked in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Has worked on site as a Project Coordinator or Site Superintendent for the term of one project.
  • Excellent capability within Outlook, MSWord and Excel.
  • Competent in Estimating and Take-off, MSProject to track, plan and coordinate the project.
  • Knowledge of Provincial Building Codes, Building envelope, Health and Safety Regulations and Contract Law.
  • Proficient in Timberline Project Management, Contract Control and Change Management.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the project budget and meet or exceed target net margin.
  • Meet or beat the project milestones and schedule.
  • Prepares detailed construction schedules, tracks on a weekly basis and presents a Monthly Report.
  • Deliver scope while meeting or exceeding Design’s and Client’s quality, fit and finish expectations.
  • Coaches and motivates project team superintendents, estimating and subcontractors to achieve budget, scope and schedule.
  • Ensure safety compliance and report infractions.
  • Lead the bid process and be accountable for the bid.
  • Ensure contractual issues are resolved within 30 days of occupancy.
  • Prepare monthly billings and progress claims.
  • Analyze cost forecasts and management reports to drive actions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and maintain relationships.
  • Identify service offerings and recommendations for clients.
