Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking Interns for our North Carolina Region projects in Havelock and Jacksonville, NC. The internship program aims to develop future leaders by providing hands-on experience in project engineering and field management on job sites or in the office.

Interns will be exposed to estimating and preconstruction activities, with opportunities to transition to full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work a 12-week schedule
• Relocation may be required for specific roles

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field staff with coordination
• Assist in estimating costs for change orders
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Schedule various contracts and materials
• Maintain document control
• Coordinate subcontractors across teams
• Support safety management initiatives
• Participate in team meetings
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders
