Job summary

W3Global in Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our commercial interior finishes team. You will review plans, develop cost, labor, and material estimates, and prepare bids. You will work closely with Senior Estimators and Business Development to support preconstruction, value engineering, and long-lead item identification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 2+ years of estimating experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, team-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost, labor, and material estimates.
• Prepare budgets, quotes, conceptual proposals, and bids.
• Perform quantity take-offs for cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, bath accessories, and other interior finishes.
• Support preconstruction through value engineering, constructability reviews, scheduling, and long-lead item identification.
• Coordinate pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, architects, and designers.
• Manage multiple projects and consistently meet bid deadlines.

Schedule & Benefits

• Location: Salt Lake City, UT
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Most Estimators work approximately 45-50 hours/week
