Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee assigned projects with a focus on timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager and team to plan, execute, and close projects while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence. The role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, plus a willingness to engage in ongoing electrical apprenticeship activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalent studies or experience considered.
• High level interpersonal and communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Technical/administrative experience; willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare contract administration for assigned projects.
• Execute and direct project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct on-site visits to oversee layout, scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; interact with owners, architects, engineers, contractors and vendors.
• Participate in project meetings and trade-related events to coordinate efforts.
• Review project documents, plans, and specifications; direct construction activities.
• Coordinate field installations, project closings, and ensure quality and compliance.
