Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support project managers and field teams in Harper Woods, MI. The role focuses on planning, executing, and finalizing construction projects while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Construction Mgmt / Civil Eng, 1–3 years’ experience, and strong PM software skills (Procore, MS Project). Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in construction project management or engineering.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist in project planning, including creating schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Review project plans, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop solutions to mitigate delays.
Support site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure clear communication and alignment with project goals.
