Job summary

BRPH is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the execution of assigned projects and help achieve the project’s technical scope, schedule, and financial metrics. The role primarily assists the Project Manager with daily technical activities for planning and successful construction execution.

Travel for project assignments may be required. A BS in CM or Engineering and experience with construction management tools, including Procore, are preferred; TAKT planning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar degree is required.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager with daily technical activities to plan and execute construction projects.
  • Manage job controls including budgets, schedules, and BIM coordination to meet contract requirements.
  • Prepare reports, daily logs, submittals, and inspect/test results as needed.
  • Monitor progress of subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical and contract requirements.
  • Assist in risk identification, procurement plans, and change management actions.
  • Lead safety and quality programs and assist in permits and environmental approvals.
  • Support planning, baseline cost/schedule, and cash flow management.
