Qualifications

• At least five years of construction experience as a Project Engineer or on similar contracts.
• Ability to study plans and specifications and prepare changes.
• Experience with contract modifications, RFIs, and progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Engineer on assigned contracts and perform routine tasks independently.
• Coordinate with customer representatives, project managers, and Resident Office; attend coordination and safety meetings.
• Study plans to identify requirements; recommend plan changes and prepare scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Develop and monitor Quality Assurance plans; support QA activities on site for safety and quality.
• Review contractor plans and submittals; prepare correspondence and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
