Job summary

Loureiro Building Construction, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects in New Hampshire. You will work with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, subs, and suppliers to keep projects on track, on budget, and safe.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Construction Management (or related) and 6 months to 3 years of PM experience, with familiarity in construction docs, Procore, and Bluebeam; OSHA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• 6 months to 3 years of construction or project management experience.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, processes, and project coordination.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Procore and Bluebeam.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project planning and scheduling.
• Preparing and processing subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Attending and recording project meetings.
• Preparing change orders, submittals, and maintaining submittal logs.
• Managing subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Reviewing daily reports.
• Recordkeeping and documentation of all aspects of the relative projects.
• Assisting with attaining substantial and final project completion on time and within budget.

This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects for a self-performing general contractor. The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Assisting with project planning and scheduling.

• Reviewing subcontractor requisitions for accuracy, in conjunction with the Project Management team.
• Assisting with attaining substantial and final project completion on time and withinbudget.
• May assist Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents throughout all phases of projects, including performing quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes, scheduling, submittals, reviewing & coordinating subcontractor/material supplier quotes/subcontracts/PO’s, preparing project-specific health & safety documents.
